A romantic rumination trying to be sold as a thriller it is not. Interesting but not enough. Lots of philosophy but towards no tangible direction.

A thriller that doesn’t get you anywhere close to the edge of the seat. Maybe because the hero gets stuff done too easily or perhaps the casting doesn’t allow you to think he could lose. This despite a decent attempt at twists.

  • Rock On 2

What's done well is done pretty neatly, what's not is pretty average, even mediocre. And yet, the entire set-up kind-a, sort-a works.

..slaughter me here in the virtual world for admitting that I'm not even remotely associated with the Rajni-cult. But, I CANNOT understand what those who belong there would like about this film.

An engaging story is told using a number of clever twists. The intelligent outwitting however is let down by some awful performances and a rather slowed-down pace.

...actually has a sort-a, kind-a coherent story. Well of course, I'm using the word coherent loosely. And story. And what-the-hell, "sort-a, kind-a" too. What I'm trying to get at is, Ready has focus.

  • Rascals

For a slapstick that is supposed to keep you in splits, Rascals has a very few gags that would have worked better if they were told in a calmer tone, with better timing and werent dragged endlessly.

In an arena where character's dilemma should have battled within, the camera and sound fight for attention. Ace, touching performance by Big B tries its best to win the war against an interesting yet predictable plot.

  • Rangoon

The tiny step Bharadwaj takes towards Shakespeare is worth an applause, and a second-viewing too. Even so, the writing though has miles to go.

  • Ram-leela

Is an engaging first hour that takes you downhill through a stretched, predictable and melodramatic rest of the film, good enough? Just might be.

  • Rakht Charitra 2

Episode 2 is all that the first one wasn’t. It has a coherent story, it makes an attempt at character development. Actors rise above the stylization and actually put up a good performance

Crime drama from the 80s, songs like they are from the 90s, slickness and style from the 00s. And story like a thriller should be written.
