Inkaar
Sexual harassment at the workplace needs to be addressed by Indian cinema. It’s an issue that deserves better than this wishy-washy film.

Kill Dil
If Shaad had summoned up half as much passion for this project as Ranveer and Parineeti expend on it, Kill/Dil would not have felt like the listless, criminal waste of amazing resources that it is.

Parched
The women’s hesitant exploration of each other in forbidden areas is riveting, as is the vein of comedy in each of them. The film is only episodically engaging though. In its entirety, Parched left me thirsting for much much more.

Heropanti
Heropanti’s story is as half-baked as the means Tiger uses to attract attention to himself.

Raanjhanaa
...confused, confusing, all over the place and, beyond a point, tiresome and dull.

Kesari
Irrespective of what the 36th Sikhs' actual motivations were, obviously theirs was a historic last stand worthy of a film. When an honest army procedural could have had an impact, the team of Kesari chose instead to be a barely disguised propaganda vehicle and to chronicle this remarkable episode with self-defeating twists.

Gippi
Unfortunately, the rest somehow has a been-there-seen-that-in-this-or-that-Hollywood-film quality to it.

Ok Jaanu
... is interesting at first, but as it rolls along it reveals its hollowness, a failing that even the lead couple’s charms and the attractive production design cannot overcome.

Indu Sarkar
While Indu Sarkar’s narrative is more engaging than Bhandarkar’s recent works, it is still inadequate.

Mirzya
There were moments when the Critic thought, “Ah, this looks and sounds so good. Maybe soon the life blood will flow?” And she waited, and waited, and waited. But it did not.

What The Fish
Unremarkable but not entirely avoidable, that’s how I’d describe this film which needed an unrelenting pace, deliberately over-the-top acting, sturdier characters and less minutes of running time to rev it up.

Ghayal Once Again
The script’s bigger failing though is that it skims over too many characters without giving them enough flesh.

Student Of The Year
Depth … now if only Student of the Year had more of that. No aspect of the film seems fully explored. Nothing in the story feels particularly new.

Ghanchakkar
...after an impressive set-up, there are entertaining bits and pieces in the second half of the film, and the last couple of minutes of the climax are not bad at all, but it just doesn’t add up.

Trapped
...the film is unable to maintain those interest levels through its 102 minutes and 56 seconds running time. This promising premise combined with the formidable talents of Vikramaditya Motwane and Rajkummar Rao should have added up to much more.

Chhichhore
The writing of Chhichhore (by Tiwari himself with Nikhil Mehrotra and Piyush Gupta) is so lacking in depth, and the direction so passionless that it is hard to believe it is brought to us by the same person who made Dangal. Despite its sporadic bursts of humour, Chhichhore comes across as a half-hearted enterprise.

Chef
It is pleasant in parts, pretty almost throughout, and the cast is appealing. In the absence of heft and a commitment to its genre though, it remains an ineffectual film.
