  • Titli

If you seek entertainment and/or stories with redemption look elsewhere. But if cynicism and hopelessness excite you, this is the movie for you.

  • Thugs Of Hindostan

Apart from the stray funny moments and consistently good visuals (thanks to decent CGI efforts), 'TOH' doesn’t really have the punch or the thrill that is required to pull off a film of this scale.

  • The Tashkent Files

...the storytelling effort is half-baked and lacks the finesse that such a heavy-duty film requires. It also doesn’t help that the final slide of the movie tells the audience that the authenticity of all the facts displayed in the film cannot be verified.

  • Thackeray

The riled up speeches, the unapologetic candour and the larger-than-life persona is presented without a veil. While the honesty is commendable, it comes across that the lead character’s political motivations lack clarity. Perhaps a more seasoned writer could have fleshed out Thackeray’s character and eccentricities a lot better.

  • Teen Thay Bhai

It may not go down well with those who crave sophistication and élan, but if madcap movies are you’re thing this is almost as fun as The Hangover.

  • Tanu Weds Manu

...this could have been a real surprise package but sadly it weighs down under the antics of the female lead and lack of coherent vision from the filmmaker.

...does fairly well with the comedy, but even with several laugh-out-loud moments, the film feels a little too long. Towards the end, the movie drops the horror comedy treatment and becomes a little too serious about the conventional stabbing-the-ghost-in-the-heart kind of ideas that often play out in horror flicks.

...an engaging film. Sure it’s end could’ve been much better. Sure this isn’t Pandey’s best. But this is still one of the best films you’ll watch this year.

  • Sniff

It plays safe in an attempt to be real and that’s the biggest disappointment. Sniff could’ve and should’ve been a lot more creative.

  • Singh Saab The Great

...a mass entertainer. It’s a Sunny Deol vehicle; it’s fun albeit a bit jaded thanks to its director’s craft. But this larger-than-life hero still delivers a mean punch.

...is a fine and fresh comedy. It does more to prove the leading lady's talent rather than entertain. But end of the day, it’s a clean and happy film.

...tries to tell a tale of merit. But the methods it employs to tell its story are so jaded, you just lose your faith in the film.

  • Shivaay

It’s a pity that some tired writing foils the fun of an otherwise well thought out movie. Shivaay follows a strict code of storytelling.
