Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene
Critic reviews and ratings
-
...works due to its crisp screenplay and likable performances.
-
...despite so many middling characteristics the film retains a certain element of novelty. Its the equivalent of an uncut and unpolished diamond.
-
...strictly average...
-
Director Gurmeet Singh has done an average job with the star cast and the script of the film. The short duration of the film works its favour as it keeps it crisp and to the point.
-
Though it is written with a fair amount of conviction and research, the paper-to-screen transition adds nothing new. There isn't enough within sequences—be it the performers, their lines or routines—to keep us engaged.
-
...the story had potential, but lacks chutzpah in its making. Too much of sharafat and no play makes it a dull watch.
-
A fairly smart script, cast that’s easy on the eye and it wouldn’t have been so tough to bring out a decent film. But unfortunately, director Gurmmeet Singh falters and what we get is a film that is sometimes perky, but mostly sloven and at times, plain boring.
-
It actually has a strong, interesting plot. But, unfortunately, it places at the centre of its story the two worst possible non-actors.
-
With a sketchy narrative, unimaginative screenplay and apology of performances, Sharaafat Gayi Tel Lene barely has any merits to shout out for a pleasant watch at the theaters.
-
The movie has no suspense, is a bland comedy and even the 'thriller' bit isn't thrilling enough to make this film what it was intended to be-a comedy/thriller.
