  • Peepli [Live]

In spite of having that heart of gold, Peepli Live lacks a certain profoundness. The movie does nothing but sit on a fence, showing you that there is a solution but no one wants to work it out.

  • Tanu Weds Manu

...this could have been a real surprise package but sadly it weighs down under the antics of the female lead and lack of coherent vision from the filmmaker.

  • Daawat-e-Ishq

This could've been a real seven-course fiesta but the misguided vision and thanda drama reduce this feature film to side dish status.

Anyone watching this film will have to settle for its intentions alone. Everything else in this melodramatic overdose is genuinely embarrassing.

...successfully uses this socially relevant subject and weaves it with a run of the mill story. That predictability is the only and the major problem with this gritty film.

  • Sniff

It plays safe in an attempt to be real and that’s the biggest disappointment. Sniff could’ve and should’ve been a lot more creative.

  • Ragini MMS - 2

The total package – the songs, Sunny Leone erotica and the in-your-face scares – is good for an average horror flick. But there’s absolutely no sense to story or treatment.

...is the millionth time Hindi films have tried to cash in on the Shakespearean tragedy. Sadly, the charm of the concept hasn’t just worn off, it’s dead.

Some stories deserve to be told with nuance and intimacy. You can't employ movie making formula when you're trying to depict reality and tragedy with authenticity.

  • Kuldip Patwal

This film had a lot of potential. It had the spunk that we've seen before in Subhash Kapoor's Jolly LLB movies. But all of that promise is laid to waste with uninspiring execution.

  • Roy

Director Vikramjit Singh’s ambitious first film had the potential but end of the day it turns into a tiresome affair. A tad too indulgent and too contrived.

  • Veerappan

It's not the worst film Ram Gopal Varma has made. Nor is it any close to his best. It's just a middle-of-the-road offering where seeing an actor look like the mirror image of Veerappan catches your fancy for a few fleeting moments.
