I don't know why, but I get this strange feeling that the director was not fully involved or attached to SOTY. The mark of intensity that one has seen in his past films is missing. It's like a grand wedding reception with a poor food spread.

Kundalkar got lost between a mad-cap comedy and wanting to portray a young Marathi girl with her zest for life to make it big on her own. Sometimes, comedy is good when it is used in the right doses but when it is overdone, it borders on obscenity.

Gauri Shinde has come up with a gem in her directorial debut. The story is very modern, yet archaic; sober, yet hard-hitting. And adding punch with lots of pizzaz to the entire duration of the film is Sridevi.

  • Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal

The Kamaal, I guess is Priyadarshan going on the sets with no script in hand. The Dhamaal would be the artistes had on sets not knowing what to expect in the next scene or shot. Malamaal... I don't think anyone will be.

  • OMG Oh My God!

Kudos to director Umesh Shukla and his entire cast and crew and those behind the scenes for illustrating the pointlessness of all religious beliefs and driving the message straight to the heart.

  • Raaz 3

The one star rating is for the attempt to make it in 3D. Otherwise, the movie has absolutely nothing to offer. The presentation is a horror in itself.
