  • Agneepath

Would this movie have the same impact on the young as did Anand's incredible Hum (1991) for the generation before? No. Would this Agneepath suffice still? Yes.

...rakes up a lot of issues that deserve at least a discourse in the current scenario, but instead, ends up only fleetingly touching these. Neither the characters nor the narrative take upon the evils and the evil-doers.

  • De De Pyaar De

There is genuine fodder for situational comedy, but debutant director Akiv Ali can’t strike the balance between clever humour and broad farce, making something that wants to be intelligent but looks (and sounds) like a Priyadarshan slapstick climax.

  • NH10

Navdeep Singh nails it in the first half, but the second half lacks the same fluidity and penetration power. NH10 displays a great potential and then fails to capitalise on it.

  • Bajrangi Bhaijaan

...is totally dependent on Salman Khan's superstardom and he pulls it off provided you overlook his in-your-face 'bhai' act in some scenes. It's an entertaining film for sure, definitely in the not-to-be-missed category.

  • Sarkar 3

...there is one good thing about Sarkar 3. Ram Gopal Varma is a step closer to regain his touch. Veerappan showed he is not out of the game, and Sarkar 3 suggests he is on a comeback.

  • Manmarziyaan

It is ultimately a disappointment not because of its craft, but because of predictability, self-indulgent pace and its irritating attempt to be both a light crowd-pleaser with a cutesy ending as well as an impassioned, volatile romance.

  • Happy New Year

...gives you enough reasons to stay inside the hall. But whether all those sequences come together to make a composite whole or reduce the film to yet another mindless potboiler, depends entirely on your perception.

  • Happy Ending

The film does exceedingly well on the craft front as it moves away from conventional techniques but fails to add a new dimension on the content front. But, you can always watch it for clever one liners and sharp jokes.

  • Hunterrr

...is not great, but director Harshvardhan Kulkarni, who has also written the script, has managed to churn out an interesting film that might become a stepping stone in this genre for Hindi cinema.
