  • Sarkar 3

...I don't particularly hate this Sarkar, the film. One just begins to feel indifferent towards it beyond a point. Which isn't a good thing, I know. But then, if “it is what it is” kinda casual indifference follows plain dejection, and natural helplessness, then so be it.

...glaring hiccups in an otherwise watchable and frankly, very enjoyable film. Just don't hope for a warts-and-all biopic.

  • Saina

Biopics have simple and unbroken rules of following the template that has been set by multiple real-life stories before. Some have been dumbed down, some have been remarkably real. Amole Gupte’s Saina tilts slightly towards the former, and the filmmaker puts the dumbing down to good use.

  • Saand Ki Aankh

There's something so desperately missing in the general rhythm and tone of this film that beyond a point, not just the audience, even the filmmakers seem unable to decide on whether this is a high-octane melodrama, set to appease junta-class.

Debutant director Vikramit Singh thankfully steers away from the obvious and the melodramatic and chooses to present this interesting concept with a soft, subtle and delightfully imaginative filter.

  • Rocket Singh

It may not be your kind of film, but you should watch this one. Simply because our cynical world needs more Harpreet Singhs. It is a film about hope. And about a better world with honest people.

This movie deserves full marks simply for perfectly casting the ever-dependable Rajni and making the most of the VFX at its disposal.

  • Red Alert

It's not a typical entertainer, but if you are in the mood for something different, this engrossing film -- full of super performances -- is not a bad idea.
