  • Yeh Saali Zindagi

The idea is to project mess and chaos. Indeed surplus characters and subplots often make YSZ an overwhelming experience to endure. But if you are up for the challenge to explore Delhi's shifty facet, it's rewarding too.

  • Dhobi Ghat

...a middling debut, watchable due to its nuances but simply not interesting enough to recommend. Yet Rao seems assured of her craft, and worth looking out for in the future.

  • Dhobi Ghat

Kiran Rao has tried to be as realistic as possible, and that's the USP of the film. Her choice of subject and handling is one of the reasons that makes this film watchable.

  • Tees Maar Khan

Every actor, every character -- the leads, cops, criminals, even the vast supporting cast and extras -- appear to be idiotic caricatures. The premise of the film -- although taken from After The Fox -- the writing, and dialogues emphasise and celebrate stupidity.

  • Guzaarish

The film tries far too desperately to evoke what Bollywood calls the 'feelgood' factor, but ends up evoking more apathy than empathy. Guzaarish starts off slow and beautiful, but gradually, sadly congeals into a wet mess.

  • Golmaal 3

I wasn't looking for sensitivity or smarts in Golmaal 3. All I wanted were a few good jokes. The film doesn't oblige.

  • Hisss

The film is handled very tackily and looks extremely amateurish. Even the special effects are not of top quality and fail to impress.

  • Aakrosh

It's dark, it's violent, it's informative and it's packed with a load of shock value which keeps you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.
