    ...if you find nothingness fascinating and are fine with films boasting of unhurried silences and stunning landscapes, you can give this indie film a shot. Ironically, you will need a cup of coffee to sit through this tedious affair.

    The problem with '1921' is, that Vikram Bhatt has added too much of a story to it. While the ghosts he has created do manage to scare you, they pop-up like such overzealousness and dedication so often, that after the interval, you are almost numb to their presence.

    Even though the story is set in current times, the narrative plays out like a 90s masala flick. The dialogues must have been written to induce wolf-whistles but are cringeworthy to say the least.
