Udaan
It's one of the best films this year, and one you will carry in your heart for years.

Turning 30
The film takes a promising premise and fails to realize its potential because it's trying too hard to be cool.

Tumhari Sulu
...belongs to its leading lady, and Vidya Balan is so good in it, she glosses over many of the script problems and gives us a protagonist so compelling it’s hard not to succumb to her charm.

Tumbbad
Above everything else this is a wildly original film with a look and feel that is of the highest standard. The middle portion is long drawn and flabby, and there were times I found myself scratching my head unable to keep up. But these are minor grumblings.

Tum Milo Toh Sahi
This film is intended as a warm drama about love in a big city, but the script never quite gets around to achieving that.

Tum Mile
...you may survive the floods, but Emraan and Soha's bak-bak will most certainly kill you!
Nov 2009
-
Tubelight
...is well intentioned but overtly manipulative and doesn't so much tug at your heartstrings as it punches you in the face demanding that you care.

Tu Hai Mera Sunday
The film doesn’t throw up many surprises on the script level, but it benefits from a strong cast and a casual, lighthearted tone that never slips.

Trapped
...is a wholly involving drama that you become quickly invested in. The bulk of the credit for that goes to the film’s incredible leading man who delivers his finest work here.

Total Dhamaal
I want to say here that I’m not against comedies that require complete suspension of disbelief. But even that requires thought, clever writing, and a lightness of touch. Total Dhamaal has none of those things.

Toonpur Ka Superrhero
Despite the occasionally impressive animation, Toonpur Ka Superrhero is an ordeal to sit through because it has neither the visual wizardry nor the engaging storytelling...
Dec 2010
-
Toilet
It’s clear the film has its heart in the right place but the blatant pandering gets tiresome.
Aug 2017
-
Toh Baat Pakki
The inherently offensive nature of the film's central premise is shrouded under the director's feel-good treatment of the same.

Titli
It may not be everyone’s cup of tea – it’s especially not for the squeamish – but it’s an unflinching study of family in the way that the movies rarely provide.
Oct 2015

Tiger Zinda Hai
...is way too long at 2 hours and 41 minutes, but it packs some thrilling action and a beloved leading man presented in just the manner that the fans seem to want to see him.

Thugs Of Hindostan
...for the most part Thugs of Hindostan is a humourless, solemn affair.

The Sky Is Pink
Despite the blatant manipulation, there are moments that left me with a heavy heart, and with a lump lodged in my throat. Still, watching a child’s life cut short should hurt like your heart’s being carved out of your flesh. The Sky is Pink never bruises you with that intensity.

The Shaukeens
There are the odd moments of inspired humor - all crude - between the three senior actors, but for the most part they're wasted.
Nov 2014

The Lunchbox
Treat yourself to 'The Lunchbox' - it'll leave you with a craving to seek your own little happiness. The best film I've seen in a long time.

The Japanese Wife
There is no denying the fact that The Japanese Wife gets bogged down by its indulgent pace. But stay with it and you will be rewarded.

The Dirty Picture
It's an average film made eminently watchable by its courageous star.

The Attacks Of 26/11
It's a chapter in Mumbai's history that we'll never forget, so a movie on the attacks should have left you more than just comfortably numb.

The Accidental Prime Minister
The film is a hatchet job that looks like a hatchet job. It’s all so incompetently staged there were times I felt I was watching an MTV spoof.

That Girl in Yellow Boots
Even if the story itself leaves you wanting more, the storytelling makes you go the distance.

Thappad
It’s a hard subject to pull off, but Anubhav Sinha achieves it with first-rate storytelling. The best films inspire dialogue, they set you thinking; they can even lead to change. This one made me uncomfortable; it made me question myself and I think it will make you too. It’s essential viewing.

Thank You
Badly scripted, shoddily photographed and embarrassingly performed, 'Thank You' is one of those rare films that gets absolutely nothing right.
