  • I Me Aur Main

...a rather listless drama about grown-ups who still have much growing up to do. Eventually it amounts to much ado about nothing.

  • I Am Kalam

...shows how beautiful small can be, especially when the heart is in the right place and the mind is clued in.

  • Hunterrr

... is way off the mark. It isn't utterly pointless, but it is neither hugely engaging nor particularly insightful.

  • Humshakals

Even by the pitiable cinematic standards that the director has so defiantly set for himself, Humshakals is the very pits. It scrapes the bottom of a barrel that seems to have no bottom at all.

  • Housefull 4

Only the very-easy-to-amuse moviegoers will find it funny enough to engage with its crazy, crass convolutions.

  • Hindi Medium

It isn't possible to completely dislike Hindi Medium. So, ignore its hiccups and watch it for the relevance of the questions it poses and the remarkable quality of the acting.

  • Highway

Writer-director Imtiaz Ali has hit a road less taken. The result is a stylish two-hander that is defiantly unconventional, if not entirely satisfying.

  • Hichki

Rani Mukerji's energetic, engaging performance apart, Hichki is a huff-and-puff show marked by too much mush and fuss. But it has just enough to keep tearjerker junkies interested.

  • Helicopter Eela

The problem with Helicopter Eela is that it allows the drama to trump its comic potential. A little more wit and humour and a little less earnestness might have given the film the wings it wants.

  • Hawaizaada

The film alternates between the tedious and the excessively outlandish as it negotiates its way through a terrain that is riddled with psychological craters and historical inaccuracies.

  • Haraamkhor

...isn't a ground-breaker, but it certainly is worthy of applause for its fearlessness and for the impressive quality of the acting.

  • Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi

...the hilarity quotient is low. The precursor had delivered on at least a part of the promise inherent in the quirky premise. This one goes through the motions without ever coming close to finding a genuine rhythm.

  • Happy New Year

There is no dearth of gloss in Happy New Year, but everything else in the film, including the content and its treatment, are allowed to go for a toss.

  • Happy Ending

In the rather patchy but inoffensive Happy Ending, the narrative style is bright and breezy enough to help them paper over the flaws in the screenplay.

  • Happy Bhag Jayegi

...isn't the kind of film that will have audiences rolling in the aisles. But it might occasionally induce faint smiles on some faces.

  • Hamid

...both the film and the character, articulates that overarching hope with gentle yet precise, persuasive strokes.

  • Gurgaon

...is a felicitous first film that bears the stamp of cinematic craftsmen who know their art inside out.

  • Gunday

The eye candy on liberal display in Gunday isn’t buttressed with enough narrative energy. It really is difficult to keep a two-and-a-half-hour film from losing its wheels when its engine room is bereft of the propellant of genuine inspiration.

  • Gully Boy

In an era of which Bollywood is increasingly passing off pulpy apologies for demagoguery for cinema, Gully Boy could have been a fitting riposte. It just doesn't go far enough to pose discomfiting questions in keeping with the art of the street rapper. But all said and done, Gully Boy can be whole-heartedly commended for its craft, fascinating characters and Ranveer Singh.

  • Gulaab Gang

Women who weave their own pink saris and are determined to put all pigs in their place, even if they are in the make-believe world of Gulaab Gang, should be the last people to enforce a stereotype that Hindi films have perpetuated for decades.
