  • Khandaani Shafakhana

...is another example that proves that Bollywood is thinking out of the box. But the subject alone isn't enough, the key is to present it in an engaging manner, with a dose of entertainment. The film tries to do so, but doesn't quite make the cut.

  • Sarkar 3

The first half is engaging enough, but loses its way post the interval. There are loose ends which are never tied, and by the time the climax comes, you have pretty much figured out how it is going to end.

  • Rann

...the next time Verma decides to unmask the media, he should try doing a little homework. As of now, Rann is a joke, saved only by its fine cast.

  • Mohenjo Daro

Gowariker took huge liberties with the historical details of the period, understandably, in the service of a grand, commercial film that would appeal to one and all, but in the process, ended up making something that just cannot be taken seriously.

  • Raid

Even as Raid raises pertinent questions on lionising immoral heroes and ignoring the ones who actually do the right thing, it lacks vision and wastes the opportunity to dive deep into this discrepancy.

  • Housefull

This is Sajid Khan's strange universe where gay jokes abound, wife swapping makes for humour, and innuendo is rife. Where the language is coarse and the humour in-your-face.

  • Simran

...the film struggles with the continuity of a mood or tone. The comedy approach here doesn't pay dividends, with many of the punchlines missing the mark and most having been exhausted in the trailer itself.

  • Batla House

The Rashomon Effect, contradictory interpretations of a single event, is only introduced towards the end. By then, the film's conclusion is like most other police encounters. Fairly predictable.

  • Agent Vinod

It doesn't work. And it's because Raghavan, the master of cool, doesn't keep it cool enough. He makes the time honoured mistake of succumbing to the considerable charms of his lead pair and makes it mawkish.
