  • The Xpose

Intentional or not, this film gets away with it the same way Om Shanti Om does-not designed as biopics (Heroine) but as unwaveringly cringe worthy stories mirroring the era they represent...

  • Tevar

...there's not a moment that isn't formula-driven, which is why Sharma fails to stamp any kind of storytelling authority.

  • Darr @The Mall

Within the confines of this stumbling genre, director Kirpalani does a decent job with a predictable script. There is only so much originality left to operate with; even the ghosts have begun to look alike.

  • Commando 2

...this recipe for disproportionate collateral damage trails along predictably, has a dozen loopholes in the plot and folds up with a few revelations and fewer thrills.

  • Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana

If the noble cause of this film was to train societal soch, the regressive characters could've at least gone through a mindset makeover by the climax. But the only transformation here, happens for those in the audience — greying guaranteed.

  • Paltan

A dialogue in this film goes ‘heroes don’t choose their destiny, destiny chooses them’. But if you were to pick Paltan, be rest assured, your destiny is doomed.

  • Luv Ka The End

...has clear aspirations of fitting into a niche that its makers have identified, and within this framework it is a product that's been well thought and executed. How it measures up as an original work of cinema is of course an altogether different question.

  • Half Girlfriend

When below average writing meets overenthusiastic hamming, it's like being simultaneously inflicted with a leg wound and a throbbing headache — you're reeling in pain from head to toe but can't tell which is more debilitating.

  • Vishwaroop II

The first part of this film had shocking twists such as the drastic transformation of an effeminate Kathak teacher who was a closet Bond tailing terrorists. This one is a watered-down version that barely draws on the veteran actor’s many talents and scripts its own demise.

...attempts a stand on domestic violence. Unfortunately, it can barely sit up as a film. And as for the audience, they'll be flat on their backs by the end of it.

  • Fever

Director Rajeev Jhaveri attempts a Hollywood-style narrative with conviction but underestimating the audience's intellect and oversimplifying the plot makes it a tiring watch.
