    Zoya does try desperately to transcend the obvious, to mean the message rather than say it, like say a 'Sideways' or 'Lost in Translation' does. And though she knocks on the door of this transcendence, she is unable to pass through.

    ...may be a small film. But as cinema goes, in its adroitness, it is much more mature than 99 percent of the films ever made in India. And that, you'll reckon, is no 'small' achievement.

    ...turns out to be an ordinary affair which has a good setting to it, sees some good execution for most of its part as well but doesn't quite end on a satisfactory note that would have made audience sit back and think.
