  • Ekk Deewana Tha

While the film’s direction and narrative do little to appease you, the actors and their characters do that in abundance. If you like light hearted love stories this one is for you.

  • Don 2

...beyond that mountain of expectations lies a film that just about salvages its cause. It's barely there. In fact, had it not been for SRK and a slick climax, the film would've been a major embarrassment.

  • Ladies VS Ricky Bahl

Thankfully the movie doesn't con you of your time and effort. It entertains you and serves up enough thrills and spills to please. But it also doesn't give you something you'd remember till Yash Raj's next film.

  • Rockstar

Rockstar is not a very pleasing film. It's not easy to decipher, digest and understand. It has its own language. A language of fun, craziness, madness, pain and love. But in its own unpolished way, the film speaks of a poetic yet tragic romance.

  • Ra.One

...had the storytelling been stronger Ra.One could’ve been a classic. Sadly it's not but it is an enjoyable sci-fi and CGI fiesta that will transport you to a world of kooky fantasy and video game heroes.

  • Force

Nishikant Kamath has made good films like Dombivli Fast and Mumbai Meri Jaan. So to see Force meander around with cinematic liberties and stereotypes is really disheartening.

  • Not A Love Story

RGV shows us that we don't need big actors, lavish sets or mammoth budgets to make credible cinema. A good film just needs a filmmaker getting the most out of his skill, tact and resources.

  • Singham

...a film that will invoke wolf whistles and applause from its audience. It is gloriously massy. The movie knows its job and does it well. It does nothing out of the box to grab your attention and yet it does. Pretty easily. Watch it for its robust potboiler personality.

  • Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Picture this, Katrina tells Hrithik, "Hume dabbe mein sirf tab hona chahiye, jab hum mar jayein". (We should be in a box only when we're dead). That metaphor doesn't quite apply to Indian sensibilities and that's the case with most of ZNMD. You might just feel a strong disconnect.

  • Bheja Fry 2

...there is no such depth in Pathak's character this time around. Instead his adventure this time is like an episode of The Benny Hill Show or A Carry On tele series minus a fancy brit sense of humour. Quite pointless.

...decent first time effort. But it leaves you a little wistful. We keep wishing that films like these will finally overcome the boundaries of commerce and mediocrity and we are probably just there, metres from the finishing line.

  • Ready

Here's the thing. When it comes to a Salman Khan or a Rajnikant film, their performance is not important. It's the audience performance that counts. And the audience delivers every time.
