  • Phobia

The film is smart and reasonably slick, and benefits considerably from a knockout performance by Radhika Apte, even if the script isn’t always on solid ground.

...isn’t a consistently smooth ride. It’s uneven and bumpy and unforgivably slow in portions. But a lot of it works and some of it flies.

  • Pataakha

...feels inconsistent and never fully satisfying. It’s a lightweight offering that’s got its sparks, but doesn’t quite live up to its firecracker name.

  • Parched

The three friends, parched both emotionally and sexually, will have you rooting for them and cheering as they find their feet and their freedom in the end.

  • Pankh

The film picks up the important and delicate issue of gender confusion and sexual identity, but treats the story in such a pretentious and heavy-handed manner that it's sometimes hard to empathize with the protagonist's pain.

  • Paa

Few filmmakers stick their necks out to tell difficult and different stories in these days of mindless entertainers making potloads of money. For their intentions alone, the makers of Paa deserve a thumbs-up.

...tries hard to break the mold of Bollywood rom-coms, but seldom offers scenarios or characters that are refreshingly original.

  • OMG Oh My God!

...in a sea of dumb Bollywood comedies (many starring Akshay Kumar himself), this one at least starts off a debate. For that alone, it’s not entirely a write-off.

  • Omerta

You might see it as the other side of the same coin that is Shahid. The making of a man deeply affected by similar incidents, but one who chooses a different path.
