Reema Kagti and Rajesh Devraj’s script is not a true account of a real-life incident, but is a fictional and gripping take on the actual story of free India’s first gold. There’s never a dull moment and Kagti’s direction deserves credit for it.

  • Gangs Of Wasseypur

...despite an outstanding ensemble cast and quite a few other merits, why does Gangs of Wasseypur leave you dissatisfied? Three main reasons: it’s too lengthy, too distracted and much too full of violence and fury signifying nothing.

  • Game Over

...is one of those films that linger with you long after the end credits and with Taapsee Pannu's amazing and convincing performance, the film secures itself as one of the best movies of the year.

  • Fireflies

The look of the film deceives you into believing that there is depth of content, but what it actually offers is an honest attempt at delivering it.

  • Firangi

The film could have been crisper. First half is interesting, but the film loses out on its climax, which is unrealistic and funny. It is a royal mess of the highest order.

  • Fanney Khan

Right from the word go, for all the lunacy that seems to be going on in this unexciting storyline, it never seems terribly frantic, nor engaging, leave alone entertaining!

While Khan's acting prowess will keep you glued to the film, Maneesh's brand of crisp and tight storytelling holds the plot together.
