  • Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

It seems Chopra-Dhar had a bold idea on the table, but didn’t want to force it down the audience’s throats, and wanted to allow unrestrained and easy-going blitheness do all the messaging. Too bad, its implication of “Live and Let live” backfires, despite its obvious good intentions.

  • Dum Laga Ke Haisha

The film does not offer as much comedy as it promises in the promo, but does manage to engage your senses for most part. After a point though, the plot loses momentum and becomes a bit of a drag.

  • Dishoom

This is an out and out pot boiler film which does have its moment where logic can be questioned. But as long as the film keeps you entertained, it won't hurt watching this film.

  • Dishkiyaoon

Bollywood has two types of films: the intelligent ones and those clichéd “leave-brains-at-home” ones. Dishkiyaaon is a pathbreaker. For we life-loving people, it’s the “bring a noose to the theatre” variety.

  • Dilwale

In a bid to chase the Bollywood success formula of a masala flick, which Rohit Shetty undisputedly has cracked over the years, this film tried to pack too many punches in one. As a result, none are strong enough.

  • Dil Juunglee

The first thing that came to my mind after watching Aleya Sen Sharma’s Dil Juunglee was to question the source of funding for a film that clearly had no clue which way to head, because there’s nothing worse than spending an early morning with a heartbreakingly bad movie.

  • Dhoom 3

is like a firmament lit up with those old, yellow, 120-watt bulbs, and Aamir Khan a 14 watt CFL bulb. Weak and struggling, he sticks out.

  • Dharam Sankat Mein

Somewhere in the idea of making a film about Hindu-Muslim identity lurks a noble thought. But Dharam Sankat Mein is a low IQ film that is not really up for the task it sets for itself.

  • Dhadak

Dhadak might be a much anticipated film of the season, but it is nothing more than a launchpad for Ishaan and Janhvi Kapoor. Rather watch Sairat for realistic cinema.

  • Dear Maya

...is watchable for its unusual storyline but don't expect it to be extraordinary considering its graph built by the director, till the interval.

  • Dear Dad

Director Tanuj Bhramar could have explored gay relationships deeper. But in this film, he is almost content to let it all rest with a son's acceptance -- if willy-nilly -- of his father's sexuality.

  • De De Pyaar De

if you take this film for what it is, you'll probably enjoy it, which is - frivolous fun; but with this caliber of the cast, it's a little disappointment.

  • Daddy

If you like slow and dark crime dramas, then Daddy is certainly for you, but if you are seeking a pacy period thriller, then you will be highly disappointed.

  • Daawat-e-Ishq

...pulls out all sorts of tricks to distract us from what’s essentially a cureless dud, a no-go, a film which really has a one-to-thousand chance of being remembered for anything except that it got made and got a theatre release. It’s eminently forgettable.

  • Daas Dev

Sudhir definitely gives it a contemporary spin off but it is hard to fathom the build up in the narrative unlike the quirk of DEV. D. The pace tries to elevate but falls flat even before the interval and refuses to come back till the end credits.
