Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun…
Critic reviews and ratings
-
There is a degree of sensitivity while tackling the homosexual relationship, nevertheless the drama lacks punch and the conclusion becomes self-defeatist.
-
...an honest attempt. Sure, it's not a perfect film, but at least it makes a sincere attempt to highlight the issue.
-
As far as scrutinizing a gay relationship is concerned, this ain't a patch on Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain. But still...It tries.
-
...a good idea wrapped, and nearly hidden, in clunky execution. Every time something real struggles to come up, it is buried quickly under amateurish acting, or over-written plot points.
-
The script, performances, dialogue and direction are so staggeringly inept that Dunno Y is an instant classic and the latest entrant to my list of so-bad-they-are-good films.
-
Brokeback Mountain it most certainly is not. DYNJK is not handled with such maturity as the Hollywood Oscar winner. Here you don't feel empathy for the character by pity for yourself.
-
It's unlikely that you've ever seen a movie as absurd as this.
-
Why should we go through this dumb flick? Dunno why.
-
...bad on so many levels...
-
