Hate Story IV
Critic reviews and ratings
-
...has its fair share of intimacy and thrill, which has been the primary reason for the success of the series.
-
...serves up a lot of twists and turns but it’s all too predictable.
-
Watch the film if you're a sucker for revenge dramas, or if you're an Urvashi Rautela fan.
-
...director Vishal Pandya delivers yet another revenge story. What also works against the film are the dialogues. You don’t know whether to laugh or cringe...
-
Whatever Hate Story IV is, one thing is for sure, either you love it, or hate it but you cannot ignore it, franchises like Hate Story IV will be popping up till the existence of mankind and provide titillations to its target front benchers and earn money.
-
...disappoints big time.
-
This one has it all—murders, conspiracy, deceit and enough lace and leather to keep front-benchers glued to their seats. But by the time we reach the climax and motives and plans are revealed, the only niggling issue is why go through such a winding scheme, when badla could be avenged through a couple of bullets?
-
The acting is so poor your nerves will be jangled. Supposedly erotic, the on screen kisses will put you off kissing for ever.
-
The plot is a steady stream of hot bods. And acting, what’s that? The film has no ambitions that-a-way, so there.
-
There’s murder, double-crossing, plot twists, smart alec-y attempts and even a fist fight. And after the director is done with his titillation, there’s a very detailed explanation offered for all of it.
-
is one of those films, which leaves you wondering what it was. The film is a stale cocktail of lust, betrayal, revenge and vengeance. Interestingly, no actor seems to be even trying to act. Hate Story IV has a poor plot with a flawed execution.
-
The scenes between Tasha and the expressionless hunks lusting for her are about as erotic as watching a light bulb being changed.
-
...is all about actors thinking real loud in their heads and then cat-walking in slow motion towards the camera. And when they’re not doing it, they are either spiking drinks or ogling creepily at women.
