Moh Maya Money
Critic reviews and ratings

The twists are interesting, unexpected and add to the story. It has a non-linear narrative, but it's not tough to follow. However, the loose ends could have been tied up well, and the end leaves you wanting more.
-
A mystery this is not as the film follows the inevitable. But how it wraps up may not be anticipated and is worth a watch.
-
...starts off as unsteadily as it ends but comes with a lot in the middle to chew on.
-
The setup of Moh Maya Money is intriguing but it loses charm just before the interval in its fascination to impress all and turning predictable in due course and then returning to its initial dream of being a wannabe desi de noir and is left struggling to find a space.
-
The actors make the most of the material, which is frankly compelling for a good part of this film. The tragedy, alas, is that it could have been so much more.
-
My grouse is with the screenplay. Written by Bhardwaj and Mansi Nirmal Jain, it’s uneven, much like the film’s cinematography and scene-setting. At times smart and crackling, but also, for long spells, dull and sparse.
-
The message matters, but the delivery isn’t always efficient.
-
It could have done with more tautness and tightness.
-
The film starts out well and quickly degenerates into a poor cousin of Khosla Ka Ghosla or Oye Lucky Lucky Oye..
