Ajab Gazabb Love
Critic reviews and ratings
-
...a decent entertainer with a lilting musical score. This one's for the youth primarily and also for those who get amused by zany entertainers.
-
I went in without expectations but came out thoroughly impressed and entertained.
-
This film is all about a bunch of people going bananas, yet, it doesn't leave you in splits.
-
If you like light comedies and if you can put up with a boring first half, some preachy-teachy moments, and a gamut of clichés, you can chance AGL.
-
...a decent one-time watch for those looking for some time pass.
-
...overwhelming mediocrity -- of characters indulging in over-exaggerated buffoonery, foolhardiness and distasteful humour.
-
...a decent one time watch if you don’t try to get too critical.
-
...an extremely dated film, one that requires the complete suspension of logic, disbelief and high standards of humour.
-
...fails to entertain in either romance or comedy.
-
Despite all the foreign locations glitter, this plays out like a flat, meandering TV comedy. What is the 'ajab’, and where’s the ‘gazabb’?
-
True to its name, Ajab Gazabb Love show cases an amazingly weird (not in a good way) love story which is juvenile, regressive and mocks at poverty when the attempt, I assume was to sensitize.
-
Going back to the very motive behind this film, entertainment can apparently afford to be senseless. At least that’s what the makers of this rather avoidable movie believe in.
