Bhoot Returns
Critic reviews and ratings
-
The first half of the film has quite a few nail biting scenes but post interval, the movie gets over on a rather abrupt note. The end credits roll in no time, leaving you with a sense that there's more to the story that's missing.
-
...the occasional scary moments are offset by predictable writing and pedestrian acting...
-
It’s the kind of film that the phrase ‘time-pass entertainment’ was invented to describe.
-
...is amongst RGVs weakest films!
-
...is missing the the scare factor...
-
One hopes RGV is back with the next installment of Bhoot, but with more innovative storytelling, and less clichés.
-
The result: after the chills in the first half, the rest of the film and particularly the ending are an absolute damp squib.
-
...is nothing but a mockery of the horror genre.
-
...by far the worst offering from the seasoned filmmaker.
-
Not for a nanosecond do you feel that tinge of fear.
-
With next to nothing happening in the first 70 minutes and a disgustingly horrifying last 20 minutes, Bhoot Returns pretty much yells dont watch me.
-
The film is such a bizarre piece of cinema, you're wondering what prompted him to make it.
-
...has the worst employment of 3D in the history of 3D cinema...
-
...lame and insipid.
