MSG: The Messenger
Critic reviews and ratings
-
As a result of poor and amateurish direction, the film tends to suffer big time, and starts looking and behaving as a propaganda documentary of Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
-
This doesn't really qualify as a film it's a three hours seventeen minute publicity video for the Dera Sacha Sauda chief.
-
...an indescribable mind-numbing experience.
-
Not necessarily in a good way, but the film offers lots of chuckles and a healthy dose of laughter if you endorse the view that too much tragedy is comedy.
-
...this excruciating and enervating experience has the potential to inaugurate a new sub-category in the Indian mythological movie genre – the godman hagio-pic.
-
Why the film faced any ban is a mystery. You can laugh with the movie, and more so at the movie. It’s a win win.
-
I am going by 0.5 because it talks about social evils and somebody has tried to make a film.
-
...this can't be passed off as a film.
-
Nothing more than a tacky promotional feature for a spiritual organisation.
-
...this is a poorly assembled, terrifically tacky and tremendously ill-conceived showcase for a self-styled spiritual leader -- self-styled because no costume designer in the world could match up to this man.
-
Oh my eyes. I was at last night’s premiere of ‘MSG, Messenger Of God’, and I’m still to recover.
-
ROFLMAOBTPWBBTFIFFWTYCPHI (rolling on the floor laughing my ass off because the promos were bad but the film is far far worse than you could possibly have imagined). Hehehe hehehe hehehehehehehehehehehe.
-
...bwahahaha.
