Mumbai Mirror
Critic reviews and ratings
-
The film has a lot of Dabangg-isms, with too many brutal killings - random and ruthless and glaring flaws in the first half. Though the second half sums up the suspense - blood soaked in tragic truths and raw realities.
-
...is for those who relish masala movies.
-
Director Ankush Bhatt goes rat-a-tat-tat in the beginning before sobering down in the second half to unravel the mystery.
-
Yet another crime drama about the goon-police nexus in the Mumbai underworld. Yawn.
-
...is nothing but a tacky rip off of many cop-dramas that leaves you bored and annoyed.
-
...only reflects the shoddy work that may have gone behind the making of what could’ve been a decent affair.
-
This is a terrible mishap of a film that doesn't hold a mirror to society, or the city, but rather stares at it with bloodshot eyes and a dagger in hand.
-
At the end it’s déjà vu, but when a film has been made to showcase Joshi what can you expect?
-
I’ve just finished watching ‘Mumbai Mirror’ and can’t make up my mind : was it so bad that it was plain vanilla bad, or was it head-clutchingly awful?
-
...the trailer felt like one long B-grade item song. Arre, the whole film is like that!
