I felt it is the least cheesy movie in the cheesy category this year because it had moments of self-deprecating humour, and the women here are treated nicely. Let’s hope it doesn’t cost them.

If Rowdy Rathore, Dabbang or Singham is your idea of an entertainer, go for it. At least, these films don’t have any pretensions of being great, or even good, cinema.

I don’t mind mindless comedies. My issue is that this one is predictable and flat and just occasionally amusing.

Ashish R Mohan, making his directorial debut here after assisting Rohit Shetty on the Golmaal series, pops the Dabangg/Singham/Son of Sardar template into the microwave, lets it heat for a bit and serves it up to a public that seemingly can’t get enough of silly action comedies.

...has nothing new to offer. It is cut from the same cloth that has yielded many of Akshay Kumar's recent vehicles. These films have sought to cash in on his rough and rowdy screen persona.
